Arbeloa has made it clear to everyone else (including Barcelona) that Real Madrid ready to take on the season 2011-2012. Arbeloa has also said that everyone in the squad in hungry and next season is going to prove itself as a good one for Real Madrid.

Now, we all know that Barcelona won the Champions League and La Liga last season which left Real Madrid with Copa Del Ray. But that does not necessarily means that Barcelona will be able to do that again. Even if Barcelona were to do it, Real Madrid is going to lay it all out in order to stop it from happening. Even then if it happens, then well, hats off to Barcelona.

Arbeloa wants Real Madrid to end Barcelona’s dominance and although he was happy with the performance Real Madrid gave against Barcelona to win the Copa Del Ray, he wants Real Madrid to win other championships too. Arbeloa also believes that Real Madrid are now very close to the level of Barcelona and that is something that is exciting all the players in the squad at the moment.

Arbeloa also had nice things to say about Mourinho (for a change) and said that Real Madrid has to win big games in order to beat Barcelona to important titles because that is something Real Madrid lacked last season and the season before that as well.

Here is what he said (source :

“We have a great group of players and the club is making an effort to make excellent signings that guarantee we’ll be competitive in every tournament. We’ll have to drop as few points as possible at home andbestrongindecisive games. Jose Mourinho is a great and demanding coach who knows how to transmit that to the players.”

Coentrao has finally arrived at Real Madrid and now Real Madrid have the two best left backs in the world if you leave Ashley Cole out. May be Clichy would have been cheaper and more experienced option but whatever. Mourinho wanted Coentrao so Perez gave him Coentrao.

Coentrao has said that the competition with Marcelo does not scare him. In fact, he thinks that stiff competition for places in the starting line up is only going to help Real Madrid improve as both players for a position are going to try their level best in order to play week in, week out.
