stole the march on Real Madrid in the transfer market by signing David Villa (a long term Real Madrid target, but you know what, I am glad he has joined Barcelona) who is a pretty good striker in his own right. I am not beginning to wonder about the futures of Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahamovic at Barcelona because these two strikers are not the kind of players who would play second choice to anyone.

Real Madrid on the other hand have not been linked heavily with any one name but the most interesting news that I found was “Real Madrid’s President willing to pay whateverittakes to Sign Lionel Messi”. Hmm, I like this one. Infact, I love this one. As much as I hate to admit it, Messi is a fantastic player and probably the best of his generation which includes the likes of Ronaldo, Rooney and Robinho too and it would not be the worst thing that could happen to Real Madrid if he does sign for Real Madrid.

With Florentino Perez in charge of Real Madrid, you can never say never and who knows he might as well sign Guardiola along with Messi for Real Madrid and yeah, just to be a little conservative, we need some good DM’s as well which Perez (again) is not paying attention to.

Can he outshine Messi at the world cup?

Well, the season does not start for a couple of months from now I guess. World cup is coming up and I’ll be having my eyes of Robinho, Ronaldo and Messi (add Higuain too so that I can judge with more wisdom the stupidity Real Madrid is showing by delaying his contract talks).

Well, that is it for today. As always, I am all ears now and would love to hear you comments. What do you think? Was this season really a FAILURE for Real Madrid and who can Real Madrid sign to answer Barcelona’s Villa?

Hala Madrid!!!!
