Real Madrid want a seventh straight league win this time and I think this is a must win game (again and again till the end of the season) because Barcelona are just not dropping any points at all. Whenever Barcelona are in trouble, Messi, EtO’o or Henry produce magic to get them all the points and that dents the title aspirations of Real Madrid a great deal.
All the news are just filled with Barcelona, breaking this record and breaking that record but now Real Madrid have also chipped in one of their own and that is Raul’s record of scoring the most goals for Real Madrid, he needs one more to overtake Di Stefano’s record and keep Real Madrid title hopes alive.
However, in this match, Raul will not only be looking for the record but also the 3 points for Real Madrid so that we can put some amount of pressure on Barcelona. For me, this title (if it is not over already) is a two horse race now. Sevilla and Valencia are just not consistent enough and we also are not playing, what you call, champagne football, but atleast we are getting the 3 points and that is what matters the most.
Juande Ramos has lost only 1 game since his arrival and the only loss was also against Barcelona when we had almost all our key players injured or not match fit, so there was no surprise that we lost that game.
Bad news is that our main man, Arjen Robben has had a flu and is not like to start, actually, I think he SHOULD not start and in his place, we have SEEDORF!!!!!!!, oh sorry, did I just say Seedorf, I mean FAUBERT!!!!!, hah, you didn’t get excited there now did you and quite frankly, neither have I.
I do not know this guy but reports say thathehas pace and strength. I think Juande Ramos will give him a shot atleast for single half of this game. If he has pace, then we need him because I have heard that his dribbling skills are not the best out there so he must be compensating that with his pace, otherwise why would Real Madrid buy this guy?
Well, ask Mijatovic that, if you have his number.
Anyway, coming back to the preview.
We will have to defeat the dangerous Racing Santander, who are aiming for the European qualifying spots on the table. The northern side coached by Muñiz -who played for Juande at Rayo Vallecano- are currently tenth on the table with 28 points. They have won, drawn and lost seven games. Their most dangerous man is striker Nikola Zigic, who has scored several goals for them since his return to the team in
