Panathinaikos have made contact with Real Madrid over the availability of striker Javier Saviola.

The Greek giants are anxious to land a quality forward and new coach Henk ten Cate has recommended Saviola and also Valencia’s Nikola Zigic to his board

My Thoughts

Former Barcelona player Saviola is wanted by former Barcelona assistant coach Henk ten Cate. May be he sees saviola as a low budget striker who has had the experience of playing in Europe as well as big matches like Real Madrid vs Barcelona.
